This unit consists of a Marcet boiler that enables to analyze the correlation between water temperature and pressure and to compare the experimental data with those available in literature. The water stored in the boiler is heated by an electric resistor; trends of temperature and pressure can be seen on a display and on a Bourdon gauge.
TRAINING PROGRAM
This unit enables to develop and analyze the following issues:
• Saturation curve of water (measurement of temperature of saturated steam and comparison with the values available in literature
• Steam tables
• Correlations between saturation temperature and pressure
• Absolute and relative pressure

• Boiler of AISI 304 stainless steel, with capacity of 1 litre and maximum operating pressure of 15 bar
• Bourdon gauge
• Pt100 thermo-resistance with sheath of AISI 316 stainless steel
• Safety valve

• Power supply: 230 Vac 50 Hz single-phase – 1700 VA (Other voltage and frequency on request)
