The bench is a unit for the study of the technical and operational characteristics of two kinds of hydraulic motor: the gear motor and the axial piston motor. The hydraulic main unit supplies the oil at a flow rate and pressure necessary to operate the motors, whose power is dissipated by a mechanical brake. The supplied instrumentation is used to draw the performance curve of the two engines.
TRAINING PROGRAM
• Study of a hydraulic volumetric motor operation
• System start-up and operation check-up
• Measurements: temperature, pressure, flow rate, torque, rpm
• Experimental calculation of the following curves: flow/rpm, torque/rpm, power/rpm of the two engines
• Experimental calculation of the motor performance
