Continuous Flow Calorimeter
Two screw terminals are provided at the ends of the tube for electric supply. The horizontal tube is connected by means of rubber bungs to the inlet & outlet system. Each having a vertical expansion to accommodate the thermometer. A stream of water is made to flow through the glass tube & heated by the spiral by passing electric current. With the help of an adjustable constant boil tank, the rate of flow is kept constant. The rise in temperature of water is measured by two thermometers. The whole apparatus is mounted on a polished wooden base approx. 625 x 130 mm in size. Supplied with thermometer.
